Like you I don't throw them away, I keep them in a qt. jar, one they are somewhat different to look at; two, something to collect those pieces to turn into a soap ball or bar and I also use them in my laundry.

These are very small pieces. The total weight was a little under 8 ounces for 10 pieces. Not one ounce each. They measure 1 7/8 inches x 3 inches. Not 2 x 4 inches. The smell is very strong. The odor of one soap transfers to the one next to it. So they don't smell unique. (a piece of paper between soaps would have been a good idea!)
